Company History and Philosophy
The story of Organa International begins early in 1995 when Sam Curtis,  the developer of Organa Mineral Drink, was sent a sample of another company's mineral drink along with a taped lecture of Dr. Joel Wallack. Mr. Curtis realized at that point it was time to start a personal program of mineral supplementation. For the next year he used a product made from the humic shales of Southern Utah. The product had a most objectionable flavor. Mr. Curtis then decided that it was time to market a good- tasting product that was natural, that contained all of the major and trace minerals that are needed by the body every day. The new product also had to meet the manufacturing standard that would maintain nature's nutritional integrity intact. After considerable experimentation, a good tasting alternative was developed through technologically superior leaching methods. Nutritional value was not compromised by altering nature's chemistry through means employed by other manufacturers. Organa International was then formed to offer to the market a superior mineral supplement, with not only a great natural flavor, but was made with the consumers health and well being as the most important consideration. Organa International continues to produce the main mineral drink supplement as well as other natural uncompromised consumer health-related products.
During the Summer of 1997, additional research provided the location of a more bioactive deposit of plant source minerals than was currently being used. Mr. Curtis developed a new leaching process to take advantage of the better ore and revised his equipment to accommodate the new process. The dedication of Organa International to the guiding manufacturing philosophy of uncompromised natural product offerings to the consuming public continues to drive Mr. Curtis to find more natural ways of making better health-related products for the consumer.
In August of 1997, a distributor of health food supplements and personal care products commissioned a technician to conduct a "Brownian Movement" survey of mineral drinks currently on the market to find a drink that would make consumers continue to feel good after repeated use and also taste good. After testing 150 products competing with the Organa drink and having very minimal but unsatisfactory results, the Organa sample was supplied and tested. The difference in the mineral content and the individual mineral "Brownian Movement" was so striking that the technician made a video of the Organa sample under the microscope and of three representative competitor products. The contrasting difference demonstrated the principle that when Mother Nature's chemistry is not compromised and heat is not used in the manufacture of foods and body care products, a demonstrably more healthful food and body care product can be produced.
The term "Brownian Movement" refers to and is synonymous with the term "Kinetic Energy". All created things found in the physical world are vibrating at their own unique frequencies which can be measured. If an item can be placed in an aqueous solution then under special lighting and conditions of magnification (at 10,000 X or better), particles of minerals or other substances can be viewed for their "Brownian Movement". This term is also used by many in the scientific community to describe the life force of the substance under consideration. If "Brownian Movement" is present, the substance is said to have life, or in the case of a food or supplement, it is said to have the ability to sustain life or enhance the health and well-being of the person using or consuming it.
Organa International is a subsidiary of Energy Dynamics Trust which has been in business since 1983. Energy Dynamics Trust has built and designed hydroelectric facilities on the Snake River in Idaho. Mr. Curtis has been involved in alternate energy R&D since the mid 1960's. In his position as CEO of Energy Dynamics and of Organa International, he is dedicated to the idea of environmental respect. The overriding objective of Organa International is to provide the very best plant, animal and human nutritional supplements that are possible to produce. Mr. Curtis believes that in view of our scientific advancements, we will never be able to fully duplicate the process of nature in foods that are still living i.e. foods and health care items uncompromised by the arrogance of science or money-motivated corporations.
Organa International carefully prepares its products. They do not use harsh chemistries t hat destroy nature's natural chemical balances. When these chemical balances are disturbed as in synthetic vitamins, drugs and highly processed foods (with synthetic vitamins and inorganic minerals added), new problems are created. The new synthetics must be changed from the natural forms in order to be patented. Life threatening side effects are now commonplace in many products approved for sale by the FDA. Many long-term side effects are unknown in so called approved medical and pharmaceutical products. Natural solutions to health related problems are most generally the safest and least costly in the long term. The natural unprocessed foods are more healthful and life sustaining. Additionally, these foods are much more cost effective.
Organa International will ship no product that falls short of its best efforts to provide the highest quality natural life-sustaining and life-enhancing food supplement or body care product.
